Suzannah is a sophomore Culture and Communication major with minors in Spanish and Linguistics who has a super bold and expressive personality. She is passionate about many issues such as social justice, writing and media. One of her stepping stones was performing on stage when she was in middle school, it was there when she knew she wanted to be a musician.

“Performing and making music was the turning point in my life where I was bullied less, and where I loved myself more.”

Suzannah releases her inhibitions by getting inspiration for her music through her own experiences with love, distance, anxiety, and depression.

Performing on stage was Suzannah’s stepping stone towards gaining control of her self worth. Self described as having a voice mixture of Stevie Nicks and Amy Winehouse Suzannah is a blues rock artist that takes inspiration from her life and bands like Alabama Shakes, The Black Keys, and Cage the Elephant, as well as classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin and Fleetwood Mac.

“Music is what allows me to navigate my own problems and emotions. It's what keeps me sane.”

After performing a few times and being approached by Shanel who shared her vision for CollegeTown Records, Suzannah knew that it was something she needed to be a part of. As she learns from people on the team and her peers, Suzannah hopes to share her music and vision with the world as she enhances her songwriting.
